COLEBROOK - Donna E. Grant, 73, of Colebrook, passed away suddenly at her home late on the evening of Wednesday, November 19, 2025.

She was born on Jan. 22, 1952, in West Stewartstown, the only daughter of the late George W. and Eleanor E. (Dewey) Grant.

In 1969, Donna began attending the Vershire School, and she had been a part of the program ever since. She worked, as well, for many years, first at Manchester Manufacturing in Colebrook and then in 1989 she went to work at the Beecher Falls Division of Ethan Allen.

Donna was known for her fabulous memory, remembering hundreds of birth dates and other figures which she had been told or had studied. She could remember all the U.S. presidents and she knew dozens and dozens of zip codes. She loved to journal with her friends, especially about the weather, and she loved to keep and read her mother's diaries of years gone by. Donna loved to play BINGO, and do jigsaw and crossword puzzles. She enjoyed dressing up and reading maps of New Hampshire and Vermont, and she loved watching old TV shows.

She is predeceased by her brother, Gary Grant, in 2019.

There are no public calling hours. A graveside interment service will be held in the Colebrook Village Cemetery in the spring of 2026, of which notice will be given.

Expressions of sympathy in memory of Donna may be made to the Northern Human Services, 24 Depot St., Colebrook, NH 03576.

Condolences may be offered on-line by going to www.jenkinsnewman.com.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Jenkins & Newman Funeral Home, Colebrook, NH.
