Donna Griffin was born December 23, 1958, in Norfolk, Virginia to Prince and Lucy Alexander. She was one of the 9 children of their marriage. She graduated from Union County High School class of 1976 with high honors. After graduation, Donna worked at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. She worked various other jobs including, Tacachale, Corrections Corporation of America (CCA), Reception and Medical Center (RMC), and Dollar General Distribution Center. Donna accepted Christ as her Savior and was a member of The Body of Christ Assembly Church of God in Christ. 

She was preceded in death by father: Prince Alexander; Brothers: Karl Alexander and Darren Alexander; sister: Barbara Gail Alexander; Daughter: Krystal Brown; and granddaughter: Islah Jordan.

She leaves behind to forever cherish her memory, her mother: Lucy Alexander; two loving sons: Raymond Alexander and Justin Griffin; Grandchildren: Carenna Alexander, Raelynn Alexander, Ryleigh Alexander, Shania Spiller, Karmen Griffin, Jaylin Griffin, and Kylin Griffin; sisters: Rose Milton, De'Ivory Green (Dale), Cheryl Jefferson, and Angela Warren; Brothers: Melvin Alexander, Christopher Alexander (Mykia), and Prince Alexander, Jr.; loving aunts and uncles and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A homegoing celebration for Donna will be held at Victory Christian Center in Lake Butler on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 11:30am. She will be laid to rest immediately following the service at Ft. Call Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Archer-Milton Funeral Home. 386-496-2008 www.archerfuneralhome.com
