Donna LaCoste Hambrick, 69, of Milan, passed away on December 5, 2024, at Regency Hospital. Born on December 31, 1954, in Jacksonville, Florida, to the late William LaCoste and Isma Andrews LaCoste, Donna's life was a testament to her unwavering dedication to her family, her students, and her community.
After completing her Master's degree in Special Education, Donna embarked on a fulfilling career as a special education teacher in Escambia and Sarasota County Florida. Her passion for teaching and her innate ability to connect with her students left an indelible mark on countless young lives. Donna's dedication to education was not just a profession; it was a calling that she answered with grace and enthusiasm every day.
Donna's heart was always fullest when surrounded by her beloved family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Ron Hambrick of Milan; her children, Joseph Frederickson of Pensacola, Florida, and Amanda Hambrick of Milan; brothers, John LaCoste of Neptune Beach, Florida, and Kevin LaCoste of Gainesville, Florida. She also leaves behind her four dogs and three horses that she adored.
Her memory will be cherished and kept alive by the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed, yet her influence will continue to resonate in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
A celebration of life service will be held at Milan Baptist Church on Tuesday, December 10 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Aubrey Corbitt officiating. Mrs. Hambrick's service will be live streamed on facebook.
