It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Larry Eugene Hambrick, who left us peacefully on July 31, 2025, at the age of 68. Larry was born on November 20, 1956, in Gastonia, NC, to the late Eugene "Gene" Hambrick and Lillian Foreman Hambrick, where he spent his life surrounded by family and friends.
Larry had a great big heart and would do anything for anyone. He was a US Navy Veteran, and a talented welder. He loved motorcycles and lived in leather. His dogs were his life. He loved the outdoors and to hunt, but he always ate what he hunted.
He is survived by his beloved mother, Lillian Hambrick; brothers, John Hambrick, and Eddie Hambrick (Wanda Hambrick); 6 nieces and nephews (Tony Hambrick, Nina Hambrick, Brittany Manley, Ashley Cable, Sarah Branch, Adam Hambrick); and 9 great-nieces and nephews. We will cherish his memory dearly. Larry's warm spirit and friendly demeanor touched the lives of many, and he will be missed by all who knew him.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Larry's life on August 2, 2025, at 3:00-5:00 PM at Riverside Baptist Church in Cramerton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Riverside Baptist Church in Cramerton.
Let's gather to share memories and honor a wonderful man who made a lasting impact in our lives. Rest in peace, Larry.
