Donna Lee Jeffers of Lake Mary, Florida passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday morning May 18th. She was born on September 4, 1943 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer (Plummer) Hitt, son, David Plummer, grandsons Austin Hitt, Andrew Hitt, Cousin Becky Darnell, sister-in-law Fran Plummer, sister and brother-in-law Pam and Mike Anello, and six nephews. She is predeceased by her parents Richard and Madaliene Jeffers, and former husband James Plummer.
Donna grew up in Anderson, Indiana and was a graduate of Anderson University with a degree in Psychology. She enjoyed a very full life with the priorities being family, faith and friends. She was humble and kind. She often said that her greatest accomplishment was raising her children and was the best mother any child could have. Donna's faith guided her life. She was very active in Church teaching Sunday School and participating in Bible study. She volunteered her time to charity and was a long-time member of Annunciation Council of Catholic Women/Saint Mother Teresa Circle.
Donna touched the lives of many; her family and friends loved her dearly and enjoyed her intelligent conversations and steadfast support. She will be missed by her three best friends: Brenda, Mardell and Peg, 'The Golden Girls', with whom she had lunch with every Friday.
Donna's presence in our lives will be greatly missed. She always said though, 'Even when I leave you on this earth, I will be near you.' May she rest in peace in Heaven with those who were waiting for her.
Funeral Mass will be at:
