Donna Mae Johnson, a devoted homemaker touched the lives of many with her kind and welcoming nature, passed away on April 3, 2024, in Westfield, Indiana. She was born on May 5, 1928, in New Richland, Minnesota. Donna was known for her warm personality, always making others feel at ease and welcomed.
Donna's love for life extended beyond her role as a homemaker. She found joy in playing Bingo, Euchre, and Bridge. One of her greatest passions was traveling in her RV all across the U.S with her late husband, Douglas. Their adventures were filled with laughter and cherished memories that will forever be held dear.
A true hostess at heart, Donna loved entertaining family and friends with dinner parties. Her hospitality was unmatched, creating unforgettable moments for those fortunate enough to share in her company.
Donna is preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Johnson; father, Frank Hansen; mother, Hattie Hansen, and brother, Verle Hansen. She is survived by her loving sons, Bruce Johnson (Frances) and Greg Johnson (Linda); four grandchildren, Amy Johnson, Ashley Johnson, Kristen Thomas (Mark), and Devon Johnson (Christy) and seven great-grandchildren.
Services to honor Donna's life will be held at St. Monica Catholic Church in Indianapolis on April 19, 2024. A visitation will take place from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM followed by a Mass at 12:00 PM to commemorate her legacy of love and warmth.
Donna Mae Johnson will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
