Donna Sue Kagarice

Donna S. Kagarice, 63, Harrisonville, Missouri, passed away Friday, December 8, 2023 at her home in Harrisonville. Funeral services were held Thursday, December 14, 2023 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville. Memorial contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
Donna was born October 15, 1960 to Harley and Dovie (Blair) McCulley in Harrisonville, MO. She graduated from Cass Midway High School with the Class of 1978. She married Steve Kagarice on August 26, 1978 at Freeman Baptist Church in Freeman, MO. She spent her career working for Hallmark Cards in their finance and payroll department, retiring in 2017 after 38 years of service.
Donna loved her family and her grandchildren. She loved being a grandma, playing with her grandkids brought her great joy and was something she always looked forward to. She was known for organizing the Kagarice dinners and the Elk's Hoop Shoot. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Harrisonville, MO, where she also helped teach Sunday School. In her free time, she enjoyed their farm life and loved the cattle they had, but she also enjoyed bowling. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Donna is preceded in death by her parents, Harley and Dovie McCulley; and a sister, Anna Meihls. She is survived by her husband, Steve Kagarice; her son, Brian (Malissa) Kagarice; her brother, John (Trish) McCulley; her sister, Joyce McCulley; and her 3 grandchildren: Jackson Kagarice, Kennedy Kagarice, and Avery Kagarice.
