Donna Kooken Obituary
Donna was truly larger than life. She embraced every role with strength, style, and commitment. An esteemed nurse of forty years, Donna leaves behind a legacy of courage, compassion, humor, and resilience. A fiercely-loving mother, wife and grandmother, Donna loved and cared for many; her absence leaves a profound space in the hearts of all who knew her.
Donna leaves behind her husband of 28 years, Jeffrey Kooken; her children: Jessica, husband Gary, their children Tristan, Gary, and Brett; Christian and husband Michael; Summer and partner Nancy; Matthew and his daughter Mattie; sister Judy; her cherished dog Rosie; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and siblings Carol, Larry, Richard and Lynn.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 20 between 10am-12pm in Taft, California at Erickson and Brown Funeral Home 501 Lucard St. in Taft.
Interment at 1pm at Westside Cemetery, 26910 E Cedar St also in Taft.
