Donna Lefebvre Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by J. J. Duffy Funeral Home on Nov. 4, 2024.
Donna Marie LeLefebvre, 65, of Cumberland, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, November 2, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family and cherished companion, Bill Preston.
Born in Holden, MA, to the late Romeo and Rita (Gervais) Lefebvre, Donna spent her life in Cumberland, building a home and legacy filled with compassion and kindness. She dedicated 30 years of service to the State of Massachusetts at the Wrentham Development Center, where her warmth and empathy touched countless lives. Her work was more than a career-it was a calling, and her colleagues and friends remember her as a source of both strength and laughter.
A devoted animal lover, Donna was happiest in the company of her beloved dogs and cats. Her pets brought her comfort and joy, and she supported animal causes throughout her life, often finding ways to help and protect the creatures she adored.
Donna's life was filled with the love of family. She is deeply missed by her sister, Carol Siliva, and her husband Bill of Cumberland, who were her constant companions, as well as by many dear cousins and friends who were like family. Her loved ones will remember her gentle spirit, her smile, and the kindness she showed to everyone she met.
In keeping with her wishes, a private funeral will be held. Donna's family invites those who knew her to honor her memory by carrying forward her legacy of compassion, especially toward animals and those in need.
