Donna Louise Long

Donna Louise Long, age 77, of Mogadore, went to be with her husband of 49 years, James H. Long, on Monday January 19, 2026.

She was born on October 12, 1948 to Abraham and Dorothy (nee Davis) Romesberg at Rockwood, PA.

Donna loved fishing. She enjoyed bonding with her brother Ronnie in the boat at Mogadore Lake with Bella. She enjoyed family and feeding her family her freshly caught fish. She liked to be outdoors and enjoyed walks on a daily basis with her first dog Suzie. She took great pride in her home keeping things clean and the landscaping neat. A woman of strong faith, she was a member of the Akron Baptist Temple which became Connect Church where she leaves behind many friends whom she spent lots of Sunday morning laughing with. She was given the special gift of being a caretaker to her husband, her children and her grandkids.

Donna is survived by her loving daughter Traci Long; son and daughter-in-law Michael and Cyndi Long; grandchildren Mason Waldeck, Brooke Waldeck and Hailey (Devin) Curtiss; brother Ronnie (Debbie) Romesberg; her four legged companion Bella; and other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Donna Long will be laid to rest at Hillside Memorial Park, Akron.
