Funeral services for Mrs. Gail McLemore will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 23, 2024, in the sanctuary of Friendship Baptist Church with Bro. Landon Mason and Bro. Steve Osborne officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 6 until 8 p.m. at the church and again on Sunday from 2 p.m. until service time.
Mrs. McLemore, 67, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Jackson, TN to the late Aaron Devaughn Kee and Dorothy (Morris) Kee. Gail was a longtime faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church where she was the church pianist and served in other positions for over 50 years. Gail retired from West Tennessee Healthcare in 2022.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Devaughn and Dorothy Kee; husband, Joe McLemore; their sons, Eric and Daniel McLemore; brother, James Kee.
Gail is survived by her son, Chris McLemore and wife Jennifer; daughter-in-law, Leah McLemore; siblings, Judy Martin and husband Ray, Roger Kee and wife Karen; grandchildren, Cassidy Clark and husband Lee, Felicity, Ginny, Layla, Lottie, Isaiah, Andrew, and Ollie McLemore; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Friendship Baptist Church, 817 Barnes Road, Medina, TN 38355.
