Funeral services for Donna Parrott Morman, age 63 of Tyler, Texas, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 12, 2025, at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home Chapel in Lindale, Texas with Dr. Mark Morman officiating. Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow at Carmel Cemetery in Lindale.
After an almost ten year battle with cancer, Donna went Home to be with The Lord on Wednesday, May 7, 2025. She was born December 18, 1961, in San Jose, California to the late Billy Conklin and Gloria Ann (Bridges) Parrott. Donna moved to Lindale in the early 60's where she graduated from High School in 1980. She attended TJC, Texas A&M University, and then graduated from UT Tyler in 1984 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in management. Donna returned to UT Tyler for a second Bachelor of Business Administration degree, this time in accounting and graduated in 1988. Donna loved gardening, cooking, baking, reading, competitive shopping and traveling to the beach, especially Okaloosa Island in Florida. Donna loved her family and her friends with a deep sense of passion, grace, and determination. But mostly, Donna loved Jesus. As a young girl, she gave her life to Christ and lived for Him each day. She was a member of Grace Community Church in Tyler.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Mark Morman of Tyler; son, Trent Morman of Waco; aunt, Rachel Bridges of Tyler; cousins, Deborah Parrott of Longview and Jennifer Correa of Lindale; brothers and sisters-in-law, Darla and Brian Nolen of Temple and Mitch and Mandy Morman of Lindale; also, three nephews, one niece, and so many friends and extended family members she loved deeply.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Hospice of East Texas, 4111 University Blvd. Tyler, Texas 75701, www.hospiceofeasttexas.org
