Donna K. Murrell, wife of Robert "Bob" Schreiber, age 62, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center following a lengthy illness.
Born in Atlanta, GA, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth Lee Willis and Lynda Lou (Wright) Willis. She served honorably in the US Army as a Military Police Officer and was a popular member of the United Parcel Service in Myrtle Beach, earning the respect of many a driver for her skill and advocacy of their mission. Most of all though she loved her outdoor garden, taking nature pictures, rescuing cats and dogs, never missed an opportunity to find the best stuff at a yard sale. She loved to pickle vegatables. She and Bob made many a memory in their years together from traveling to her favorite place, Rio Diejanaro, Brazil to having the most amazing birthday in two time zones while in Tokyo, Japan. She had the best job at the golf course with the "Crew" being the prettiest golf cart driver who knew exactly when everyone needed a refill. Always had a big smile on her face for friends and family. The love Donna and her husband Bob had for each other was evident in the 5 times they renewed their vows.
Surviving are her children: Thomas Murrell, James Murrell; her extended children: Ashley Buschner, Steffonie Cockerill and her husband Bryan, Evalynn Schreiber; her grandchildren: Ashton and Hunter and extended grandchildren: Alaura Stanley and Alauna Reynolds.
Donna's family will receive friends from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM both Friday and Saturday June 28th and 29th, 2024 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel.
