Donna E. Pryor, 86, of Houston, passed away peacefully, Sunday, May 11, 2025, in her home. She was born September 17, 1938, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Frank and Alice Timpson Taylor. Mrs. Pryor attended Oliver High School in Pittsburgh. Donna worked for 20 years in the Horne's Department Store at the Northway Mall as manager of the gift wrapping department, then worked for 20 years as an administrative assistant for New York Life Insurance Co in the Oxford Center, Pittsburgh where she retired. She enjoyed sewing, baking, cooking, crafting, reading, politics and thrifting. Most important was her family and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Surviving are a son, James L. Pryor (Trina) of Greensburg; two daughters, Deborah Whitlock (Lance) of Washington and Lydia Taylor of Houston; a sister, Lydia Crigler of Round Rock, TX; many grand and great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins who all loved her dearly. Deceased are three grandchildren, Joel Pryor, Ciarra Whitlock Thomas and Reid Whitlock. At the request of the deceased there will be no services or visitation. Arrangements have been entrusted to the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, Supervisor/Owner, 27 Cherry Ave., Houston, PA 15342.
