Donna Katherine Rayhel (Debney), 71, of West Terre Haute, IN passed away on January 10, 2025. She was born on February 11, 1953 in Terre Haute, IN to James and Wanetta Debney (Winkles).
Donna was a 1971 graduate of West Vigo High School. She had several occupations in her life and retired from CSX Transportation in Danville, IL. She enjoyed baking holiday cookies for friends and family, crocheting as well as other arts & crafts. Her favorite hobby was bowling; she enjoyed going to tournaments across the country where she made many friends over the decades. She was dedicated to her Tuesday Ladies League and served as the league Secretary before resigning due to illness.
Donna is survived by a daughter, Amber Dawn Huffman of West Terre Haute, IN and a son Kelly Lee Rayhel (Kristen) of Westfield, IL. Two brothers, James Debney (Sharon) and David Debney (Sally). She was cared for by her former husband, Gary Lee Rayhel, and will be missed by family and friends.
In honor of her wishes, cremation was chosen with a Celebration of Life scheduled for Friday, January 17th at 4 pm at West Side Community Church, 128 N 8th Street, West Terre Haute, IN. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Hospice of Wabash Valley to support loved ones of other families.
