Donna G. Reed, formerly Donna G. Simms, passed away on November 10, 2023. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, friend, and a devout Jehovah's Witness. Born September 15, 1950, in Wichita Falls, TX to parents, William and Julia Simms, she graduated from Marble Falls High School in 1968. In 1986, she married Edward Reed and was a dedicated mother to her 5 children from this and a prior marriage. She also worked in a supporting role with her husband in their family business in the restaurant industry.
She devoted her life to her family and her strong faith as a Jehovah's Witness and will be remembered by those who loved her as a kind and generous person. Her love of animals, her joy in reading, and her desire to spread the good word will be remembered as core tenants of who she was.

She leaves behind an extended legacy with her surviving children; James Stuart (Tiffiny Stuart), Philip Stuart (Karanda Stuart), Shannon Bates (David Bates), Carol Sheffield (Justin Sheffield), Bearek Reed and surviving grandchildren; Craig Stuart, Brandon Stuart, Talon Free, Logan Means, Seth Stuart, Kerrie Means, Fantasia Sheffield, Blake Stuart. She is also survived by her siblings; William Simms, Judy Wilkins (David Wilkins), and Carol Stafford. She was predeceased by her loyal husband, Edward Simpson Reed, and her parents, William and Julia Simms.
Memorial Service will be held November 18th at 4pm at the Kingdom Hall: 2703 Medical Parkway, Taylor, TX 76574.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation to the Jehovah's Witness Donation fund or Austin Pets Alive.
