Donna Lee Rexrode

Donna Lee Rexrode, born on November 6, 1950, in Roanoke, VA, peacefully departed from this world on September 3, 2023, in her beloved Roanoke, VA.
Donna's life was a remarkable journey filled with unwavering dedication and a deep love for her work. For an astounding 50 years, she devoted herself to serving the community through her role at CVS Pharmacy. Her commitment and compassion touched the lives of many.
Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, as she was an active member of the Belmont Christian Church. Donna's spiritual journey was a source of strength and solace throughout her life.
Donna found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a passion for reading and solving intricate jigsaw puzzles. Music was another cherished part of her life, and she delighted in both listening to and playing music, particularly the organ and keyboard. Board games brought laughter and fun to her gatherings with loved ones.
One of Donna's greatest joys was observing the beauty of nature. She had a special bond with birds and spent countless hours feeding and watching them from the tranquility of her outdoor space. Donna's heart was open to all creatures, and she often extended her kindness to stray cats, forging a unique connection with these feline friends.
Above all else, Donna cherished the time spent with her son, Kevin. Their bond was unbreakable, and their shared moments were precious.
Donna was preceded in death by her father, Roy L. Lee; her mother, Minnie R. Lee; and her brother, Larry A. Lee.
Donna's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, especially her devoted son, Kevin S. Rexrode.
In honor of her life, a private funeral ceremony will be held, attended only by close family members.
