Donna Richter Obituary
She was born January 21, 1934 to Robert C. and Edith (Prescher) Jones in Agency, Missouri.
Donna married Herman D. Richter, on August 31, 1958. Herman passed away in 2017.
A graduate of Agency High School, she carried with her the lessons of her youth throughout her life. As a member of Saint Luke's United Methodist Church in Kansas City, Missouri, Donna's faith was both a source of personal strength and an avenue through which she could serve others.
Donna was a woman of many interests, all of which reflected her love for life and nature. She found peace in bird watching. Donna also enjoyed traveling, treasuring the experiences and memories made during her adventures. Walking and maintaining an active lifestyle kept her mind and body spry. Her nurturing spirit was evident in her carefully tended home, and her generosity knew no bounds, as she was always ready to give of herself to those in need.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman.
Survivors include her daughters, Karen Broitman (Jeff) and Lisa Flaxbeard (Terry); grandchildren, Jacob Broitman, Joshua Flaxbeard, and Michael Flaxbeard.
Farewell Services 1:00 P.M. Thursday, January 22, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will gather with friends one hour prior to the service. Online guest book and obituary at www.meierhoffer.com.
