Donna Elaine Rierson

RIERSON, Donna – of Lake Orion, Michigan, age 75, passed away on September 24, 2025. A Funeral Service will be held 12 PM on Monday, September 29, 2025, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Shawn Kook officiating. Interment will take place following the service in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors two hours prior to the service on Monday, beginning at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Donna was born in Shelby, North Carolina on January 15, 1950, daughter of the late Carl and Thelda (Hovis) Allman. She married Richard M. Rierson on July 20, 1968, and together they shared many years of love before his passing on March 25, 1991. Donna was a woman of deep faith, devoted to her church where she was actively involved in Sunday school and many other programs. She served faithfully as secretary at Faith Baptist Church for many years, always with a kind and giving spirit. In her quiet moments, Donna enjoyed reading and working on puzzles. Above all, she cherished her family and found her greatest joy in her grandchildren, who held a very special place in her heart.
Donna is survived by her children: Mike (Michelle) Rierson and Heather (Jerry) Coha; grandchildren: Zoren Rierson, Zeke Rierson, Zamiel (Alexis) Rierson, Alexis Coha and Alivia Coha; siblings: Mike (Terri) Allman, Sue Allman and Terry (Karen) Allman; sister-in-law, Linda Allman; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Allman; niece, Amy Underhill.
