Donna J. Romash

Donna J. Romash, age 71, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2025. She was born on July 31, 1953, to Lillian (nee Wilks) and Fred Filidora.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Irene Toohey.
She will be dearly missed by her husband of 40 years, James Romash; her son, Robert Filidora: and her sister, Nancy (David) Cain.
A beloved wife, devoted mother, cherished sister, and treasured friend. Donna's warmth and kindness touched the lives of everyone she met-she had a rare gift for making friends wherever she went and for making others feel seen and loved.
Donna found joy in the simple, meaningful parts of life. She was a proud and active member of the Parma Heights Senior Center, where she shared countless lunches, laughs, and lasting memories with her dear friends. Whether it was joining in an activity or catching up over coffee, Donna was always fully present and always left others smiling.
A faithful and longtime member of Holy Family Church, Donna's faith was a guiding light in her life. Her church community meant so much to her, and she gave back with a quiet strength, a listening ear, and an open heart.
Donna dedicated many years of hard work to her career in banking, where she was known not just for her reliability and dedication, but for her kindness and professionalism. She made a difference to colleagues and customers alike through her genuine care and compassion.
At home, Donna was the heart of her family. A loving wife and a wonderful mother, she poured her love into every moment spent together. As a sister, she was loyal, supportive, and a source of great strength and laughter. Her family will forever cherish the memories of her selflessness, her sense of humor, and her unwavering love.
A true Cleveland sports fan, Donna had a special place in her heart for the Cleveland Indians. From holding season tickets to following the team to nearby cities, her spirit of loyalty and fun was always on full display-cheering loud, proud, and often with a ballpark hot dog in hand.
Visitations will be held at BUSCH FUNERAL HOME, 7501 RIDGE ROAD, PARMA FROM 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Friday, June 6, 2025. The Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:30 A.M. at Holy Family Church, 7367 York Rd, Parma, OH 44130. Burial will follow the Mass at Holy Cross Cemetery.
