She enjoyed her cats, staying up-to-date on current affairs, and playing video games on her phone, especially Yahtzee.
There will be no formal services for Donna and any future services will be announced by her family.
Donna Marie Ruf, 79, of Lebanon has been reunited with the love of her life, Bill Ruf, on September 18, 2024. She was born in Lancaster to the late Mary and John Walstrum and was a lifelong resident of this area.
Donna attended McCaskey High School and worked with the Lancaster Country Club until her eventual retirement. She enjoyed her cats, staying up-to-date on current affairs, and playing video games on her phone, especially Yahtzee. Donna loved her family, but most of all, she adored her grandchildren and treasured spending time with them by taking them shopping and for ice cream.
Donna leaves behind five sons, Bill, husband of Wendy Ruf of Lancaster, Tim Ruf of Lebanon, Brian Ruf of York, Randy Ruf, husband of Jacki Minnich of Columbia, Matt Ruf of Lebanon; twelve grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren; five sisters, Julie Blair, Barbara Weidman, Betsy Beck, Ruth Brugger, and Chris Kreider; numerous nieces and nephews and a large extended family. In addition to her parents and husband, Donna was preceded in death by her son, Keith Ruf; three siblings, John Walstrum, Mary Witmer, and Liz Kepley; two grandchildren, Eric and Brandy Minnich.
