Donna Sciortino Obituary
Donna Ann Sciortino passed away at the age of 63 after a short battle with ALS on July 17, 2023.
Donna was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on July 18, 1959 to Paul and Belva Sciortino.
Donna is preceded in death by her parents Paul and Belva and her Siblings Debbie and Zach.
She will be remebered by her life partner Brenda Delaune and Sister Darra.
Donna was a hospice nurse for 18 years and always cared for other before herself.

I first met Donna in 1977 in the summer after we both graduated from high school. She was a telephone operator working on Poydras Street and lived in an apartment on Esplanade and I thought that was so cool. Throughout the years, Donna and I somehow managed to remain friends. The last time we spoke was about 6 weeks ago when we talked texted and reminisced about old times. I don't think either of us realized just how soon she would be gone. Way, way too soon. I will always remember Donna and how much she changed my life for the better. She will be missed by me and many other friends and family.
