Born on July 5, 1941, in Middletown, Illinois, Donna Faye Litwiller was one of twin daughters welcomed by Harvey and Bessie (Stroud) Litwiller. On June 21, 1958, she married her beloved husband, Ralph Edmund Dale Stewart. Together, they raised three children and shared 67 years of devoted marriage.

Throughout her life, Donna held a variety of roles. She began her career at the University of Illinois while Ralph pursued his engineering degree. She later worked for many years at the Bank of Westmont. After relocating to Albuquerque, New Mexico, Donna earned her bachelor's degree in education and dedicated herself to teaching, with a special focus on special education. Upon returning to Illinois, she spent many years in management at Blue Cross Blue Shield in Carbondale, where she eventually retired.

Known for her warmth and kindness, Donna cherished time spent with friends, neighbors, and especially her family and grandchildren. She enjoyed fishing and traveling across Canada and the United States-including memorable trips to Alaska-with her husband, treasuring the experiences and adventures they shared together.

Mrs. Stewart will forever be remembered by her husband, Ralph Stewart of Vandalia; son, James Stewart and wife Jeanne of Vandalia; daughter, Julie Croslow and husband Tony of Lake City; son, Jeffrey Stewart of Vandalia; grandchildren, Nicole Stewart of Monticello, Nathan Stewart and wife Monica of Champaign, Melinda Logan and husband Steve of Decatur, Joseph Conroy and wife Marissa of Albuquerque, NM; great-grandchildren, Madison, Trista, Ryan, Rebecca, Lucas, Jacob; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Shirley Mitten; and her twin sister, Wanda Bloomquist.
