Donna Gayle Drewett Stutson Born June 18, 1955, LeCompte, Louisiana
Funeral services for Donna G. Stutson will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Gallagher Funeral Home in Ball, Louisiana with Pastor Jason Paul officiating. The burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park & Monument Company, 2202 Military Hwy.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service, at Gallagher Funeral Home.
Mrs. Donna, 69, of LeCompte passed away Saturday, March 29, 2025, in Alexandria, Louisiana surrounded by her children.
She graduated from Rapides High School in the year 1973; was known to us as "my baby", "mom", "mawmaw", "savage grandma"; to others Mrs. Donna, Sister Donna, or Donna Gayle. In her teenage years you may have heard an operator handle "Spitfire" on the CB radio. If you knew anything about Donna, "Spitfire" fit her perfectly. She was an employee at many different establishments until fully retiring in 2004. One favorite pass time was her version of "20 questions". She was a master. The famous question was always..."WHY?"
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Floyd and Catherine Drewett, Kay and Clara Cooley; parents, Vernon and Marie Drewett; sisters, Vicki Edwards and Cindy Scroggs.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 47 1/2 years, Ralph Lavoy Stutson Jr.; children Shannon, Jonathon (Alisha); grandchildren Kameron, Kobe (Desarae), Gabrielle (Daniel), Kaleigh, Clara, Kaydance "Bella"; 2 great-grandsons, Greyson and Elijah; Aunt Beth Caillouet; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Scroggs, Channing Stutson, Jamie Edwards, Jathan Garner, Kameron Killian, and Kobe Killian. Honorary Pallbearers are Daniel Coram, Joey Scroggs, and Taylor "Gage" Fain.
Greatly loved, deeply missed, always remembered.
A special thank you to everyone for prayers and support over the past several weeks.
