Donna Raye Surface

It is with heavy hearts and a lifetime of memories that we announce the death of Donna Raye Surface of Oklahoma City, who was called Home to the Lord on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at the age of 81. Born in Galveston, Texas, on July 1, 1942, Donna was the daughter of William and Candace Mood. Her mother Candace has preceded her in death, along with her husband, Gerald Cook, and a granddaughter, Alexandra.
She leaves her children to cherish her memory, two sons, Jarrell Cook, and John Cook, and daughter Trina Jacobs; five grandchildren, Angeline, Cameron, Jonathan, Jessica, and Jordan; along with six great-grandchildren, Cylas, Olivia, Ellen, Zachary, Mason and Carter.
Donna was a longtime and faithful member of the South Lindsay Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. In addition to her church activities, Donna loved to spend her free time shopping and playing Bingo. More than anything, she simply adored her family and looked forward to quality time with the people she loved, particularly her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved with her entire heart. As we say our goodbyes to Donna Raye Surface, let us remember her for her strength of character, her devotion to her family, and her wide array of accomplishments during her 81 years on this earth. May she find eternal joy and peace in her new Heavenly Home.
