Donna Fay Tate was born in Meridian, MS to the late Willie Lee Cherry and Carrie on August 8, 1948.
On September 11, 2024, our God called her to her eternal rest.
Donna Tate worked for the US Army at Fort Bragg, NC for many years before moving to Harrisburg, PA. There she worked for the government before retiring.
Donna is preceded in her death by her parents: her 5 children, Lenora Ford (Fayetteville, NC), Prentice Tate (Harrisburg, PA), Maria Tate (Harrisburg, PA), Jimi Sullivan (Harrisburg, PA) and George Sullivan (Harrisburg, PA). She also leaves to mourn her sister, Elder Mary Cherry (Fayetteville, NC) brother, Larry McDonald (Fayetteville, NC), and John Cherry (Montgomery, AL) as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Donna also leaves behind many close friends who will miss her dearly.
