Lottie Tate Obituary
A native of Caswell County, NC, she was the wife of the late Claude Webster Tate and the daughter of Berry Washington Simmons and Bertha Minor Simmons, both deceased.
Lottie was the owner of Lottie's Beauty Shop for over 40 years. She was a member of Concord Christian Church.
Survivors include a niece, Gale Rice Reavis of Advance; nephew, Keith Berry Rice (Carla) of Anderson; sister, Mona Busick of Browns Summitt; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Hattie Smith, Edna Faison, and Verdie Rice and her brothers, Brodie Simmons, James Elbridge Simmons, William Simmons, Robert Simmons, and Ervin Simmons
A funeral service will be held at Concord Christian Church on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. The burial will follow immediately following the service in the church cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Concord Christian Church, 4908 Cherry Grove Rd, Reidsville, NC 27302.
