"Not all who wander are lost"
On Friday, October 24, 2025, Donna Leureen Wallace of Gold Road, Muncy, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully, following an ongoing and courageous battle with Parkinson's disease. She was 86.
Wallace was born May 30, 1939, in Compton, Ca., to William Louis Wallace and Gertrude Leura Oliver.
Donna was preceded in death by her Life's Partner of 10 years, G. Arlene Lyons, her sons; David Allen and Darryl Edward Williams, a sister; Jacqueline J. Worden, ex-husband; Fred L. Quigg, and a grandson; Kyle B. Christensen.
Donna will be deeply missed, but lovingly remembered by son Duane A. Williams, daughter, Amy C. Pfleegor and her husband; John, daughter Sara L. Christensen and her husband; Kelvin, 9 grand children, and 21 great- grandchildren. She is also missed by her three feline companions: "Bootsie, Birdie and Mini-Moo".
Following her graduation in Scottsdale, Az., from nursing school (1965) Donna spent her entire life, dedicated to her career as a Licensed Practical Nurse, up until her retirement in 2005.
Her hobbies included being a great cook, which was fully appreciated by all who were lucky enough to get to try her pineapple-upside-down cake, Mexican Posole` soup, chicken enchiladas, scalloped cheddar potatoes with ham, amazing fish tacos, or her "famous pea salad"- to name a few.
Donna enjoyed reading, watching YouTube Videos, reminiscing and telling stories about her childhood memories, and visiting with family and friends. She also had a wonderful, if not unique, sense-of-humor.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, in Eugene, Oregon.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at Residential Home Health www.residentialhealthcaregroup.com for their care and compassion, during Donna's 3rd and final duration with Hospice services.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brooks Funeral Home & Cremation Svc PC, 207 Broadway Street, Turbotville. To share a memory or condolence with the family please visit www.wfbrooksfuneralhome.com
