Frederick G. Moten, 61, formerly of Milton, passed away on October 16, 2025.
Born September 3, 1964 in Baton Rouge, LA, he was a son of the late Reader "Phil" Moten Jr., and Shirley (Scott) Moten.
Fred formerly worked at Great Dane Trailers, Front Street Station in Northumberland, and most recently for Flagger Force. He loved music and was a skilled drummer. Fred also enjoyed riding motorcycles and always dreamed of traveling across the country on one.
He loved a good meal and enjoyed going fishing. Fred had a kind heart and was always willing to help those in need.
He is survived by two brothers: Aundre Moten, and Reader Moten III; four sisters: Sherry Curtis, Kim Ali, April Woodton, and Lisa Moten; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: Tyrone Moten; grandmother: Minerva Scott; aunt: Rosa Scott; and uncle: Harold Domino.
Burial will be held in Harmony Cemetery, Milton.
