Donna Faye Maddox-Wilson, 76, of Helena, Missouri, passed away February 9, 2026, at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph, Missouri, surrounded by family.

She was born February 28, 1949, in Helena, Missouri, to Olen Allen "Smokey" Walker and Lucella (VanMeter) Walker, and graduated from Savannah High School in 1967.

On July 1, 1967, she married Danny Maddox, who preceded her in death in 2007. She later married Kenneth "Kenny" Wilson in 2017; he preceded her in death in 2018.

Donna worked at H.D. Lee in St. Joseph and was primarily a homemaker devoted to her family.

She was generous with her time and quick to visit with anyone she met, never hesitating to speak her mind or stand up for what she believed, especially for her boys. She enjoyed bingo, trips to the casino, and garage and estate sales. She especially loved cooking and baking for her family - pies, homemade noodles, and stuffing were favorites - and was well known for handing out homemade popcorn balls on Halloween.

She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; her brother, Richard Walker; her sisters, Marilyn McCallon and Linda Pike; and her infant brother, Norman Walker.

She is survived by her sons, Brian Maddox (Erin) and David Maddox (Nyckie), both of Helena, Missouri; her grandchildren, Krystan, Emily, Halie Jo, and Marissa; her brother, Ralph Walker; her close friend, Barbara Pappas; numerous nieces and nephews; and her parrot, Tommy.

Natural Farewell under the direction of Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Inurnment will be held at Helena Cemetery at a later date. Online guest book and obituary at www.meierhoffer.com.
