Donna Winant

Donna Winant, 66, of Spotswood, passed away peacefully, at her home on Wednesday, May 22, 2024.
Born in New Brunswick, Donna lived in Old Bridge and East Brunswick before settling in Spotswood in 1982. She worked part time as a Teacher's Aide at the G. Austin Schoenly School in Spotswood for twenty years, retiring in 2015. She enjoyed salt water fishing, motorcycling, cooking and baking, hosting large parties and spending time at her Jersey Shore house in Little Egg Harbor. She was also an avid fan of the Cincinnati Bengals football team. Donna treated everyone as if they were her family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who will be missed by all.
Predeceased by her father, Donald Zierdt, Sr., and her brother, Donald Zierdt, Jr., she is survived by her husband of 41 years, David Winant; her children, Jessica Collins and her husband, Steve Howe, David, Jr., Daniel, Cory, Kimberly and Kyle Winant; her mother, Josephine Zierdt; her siblings, Marion Barr, Harold and John Zierdt, Sandra Greene, and; her grandchildren, Jazmine, Zachary, Alexander and Adrianna Collins.
The family will receive family and friends on Sunday, June 2nd, from 2:00 until 6:00 PM, at Spotswood Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Spotswood. Cremation will be private.
