Donna M. Yant

Donna M. Yant, 94, of Massillon passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2023. Donna was born on February 3, 1929 in Massillon, Ohio the daughter of the late Raymond and Barbara (Heintz) Gehring. She was a lifelong resident of Massillon and a 1947 graduate of Washington High School. She owned and operated Donna's Daycare and Preschool from 1963 till 2017. Donna was a faithful member of Epworth United Methodist Church for the past 84 years. She enjoyed playing cards and was an avid fan of her beloved Cleveland Indians. Most of all she cherished the time she spent with her family.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Yant; her brother, Jack Gehring; and her son-in-law, Bob Wolfe.
She is survived by daughters, Patti Wolfe and Sandi (Bud) Schoener; grandchildren, Brian (Heather) Wolfe, Benjamin (Heidi) Schoener, Anthony (Jennifer) Wolfe, and Andrew (Stacey) Wolfe; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Noah, Molly, and Lennah Wolfe, Anora Schoener, Natalie, Garrett, and McKenna Wolfe.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 11, 2023, at 11 a.m. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. Calling hour will be held at the funeral from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Memory Garden.
