Donna Zanone

Zanone, Donna (nee O'Rourke) of Calabash, NC, formerly of Cresskill, NJ. Devoted mother to Katie (Artie). Wife of the late Peter, daughter of the late Thomas and Cecelia. Survived by brother Tom (Lisa), many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and loving family and friends. Donna had countless fond memories of her 37 years teaching in the Cresskill School District where she made lifelong friends and touched the lives of so many students. She could always be found reading a good book, then sharing her favorites with friends. Donna loved spending time with Peter and Katie taking trips, cooking meals, watching the Yankees, Giants, and tennis, and enjoying their home at the beach in North Carolina. Memorial Visitation at Barrett Leber Funeral Home, Tenafly, NJ Thursday 4-7 PM. Memorial Mass Friday 10 AM at St.Therese, Cresskill, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
