Donnie Stephen Allen, 73, passed away on Monday, September 29, 2025 at North Mississippi Medical Center-Gilmore in Amory following a brief illness. Donnie was born in Aberdeen on December 27, 1951 to Boyd and Antionette Sloan Allen. He attended ICC and was widely known as a painting contractor. He enjoyed hunting, going to church and talking about Jesus. Above all, he cherished his grandchildren.
Private family services will be held later.
He is survived by his son, Seth Allen, Amory; two daughters, Kelley Jo Allen Carpenter (Ray), South Carolina and Lea Anna Allen Rinehart (Toby) of Tennessee; grandchildren, Arden Carpenter, Tripp Allen, Stone Garner (Ace), and Connor Allen; great grandson, Elliott Garner; and special friends, Bro. Larry Colburn, Bro. Steve Gentry, and Aaron Hester.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sheila Allen; brother, Anthony “Andy” Allen; and grandson, Cain Rinehart.
