Roland Wayne Brewer Jr.,62, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at the NMMC in Tupelo. He was born in Lowndes County, MS on June 22, 1963 to Roland W. Brewer Sr., and Rebecca Sudduth Brewer. He was a graduate of Millport High School in Alabama. He proudly served his country for six years in the United States Army. He was a member of Sulphur Spring Primitive Baptist Church in Caledonia. Roland was an eclectic worker and had many jobs before his retirement. He enjoyed many activities including the SCA (Medieval Reenactments). He loved outdoor activities and also loved helping his wife, Laura write books.
Funeral services will be on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at 2 pm at Sulphur Springs Primitive Baptist Church in Caledonia with Elder Joe Nettles officiating. Burial will be in Mount Pisgah Cemetery in Duck Hill, MS. Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home of Aberdeen has been intrusted with the arrangements.
Visitation will prior to service at the church from 1-2 pm.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Laura Sue Brewer, two sons, Kelson Brewer and Barron Brewer, one daughter, Rebecca Brewer, one brother, Jimmy Darrel Brewer, one sister, Dena Capley, five grandchildren, Marcus, Jonathan, Andrew, Amanda and Damian, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents
