Donnie E. Cameron

WARREN, OH – Donnie E. Cameron, age 77, passed away on March 28, 2026.

A man of steadfast dedication and deep family roots, Donnie was born on August 12, 1948, in Tennessee, and built a full and meaningful life in Warren, Ohio.

Donnie understood the value of hard work and lifelong commitment. He retired from the General Motors Fab Plant after 43 years of loyal service and later worked for Ohio Security Systems for many years. His dedication extended to his fraternal community as well; he was an Honors Mason for over 50 years, embodying the values of the craft throughout his life.

While his professional and civic contributions were many, Donnie's greatest pride was his family. He remains the guiding light for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will forever carry his influence. A man of quiet strength, his presence provided a sense of security and warmth to everyone he knew.

Donnie's legacy lives on through his beloved wife, Peggy; and his three daughters, Dawn (Tony) Payiavlas, Donna (Ted) McManus, and Dana Cameron (Brian Ferrett). He remains the guiding light for his grandchildren: Ryan, Zachary, Emily, Erica, and Sydney; and his great-grandchildren: Amelia, Remi, Quinn, and Ford. He is also survived by his two sisters, Daisy Pennington and Marcia Cameron all of whom will miss his presence dearly.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Dedrie, brother Billy Cameron, Sisters Sue Grady, Marlene Lindenberger, and Tammy Cameron.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Dr. Richard Hart and Expand Home to Health for their compassionate care and support. Donnie will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, April 1, 2026 from 11:30 am to 1 pm at the Peter Rossi and Son Memorial Chapel, 1884 North Rd. NE Warren, OH 44483. A funeral service will follow at 1 pm at the funeral home.
