Donnie DeWitt Obituary
Donnie Neil DeWitt, 87, of Twelve Mile, passed away Wednesday August 2, 2023, in his residence.
Born July 14, 1936, in Logansport, he was the son to the late Elbert Neil and Ethel (Nice) DeWitt.
On September 21, 1955, in Twelve Mile, Donnie married Caroline Rance who preceded in death on May 31, 1997.
Donnie formerly worked as a carpenter for Ray Hinkle Construction and was a former member of the Bethlehem United Methodist Church near Twelve Mile.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda (John) Rock, Twelve Mile; son, Gary (Connie) DeWitt, Peru; four granddaughters, Amy (Aaron) Riley, Clarksville; Erin Rock, Twelve Mile; Brittany (Kyle Carnarsky) Ogle, Royal Center; Bethany (Andrew) Poyser, Royal Center; grandson, Andrew (Maggie) Rock, Logansport; 10 great grandchildren; one brother, Dale (Diane) DeWitt, Lucerne; one sister, Charlene Warner, Logansport and several nieces and nephews.
Donnie is preceded in death by three brothers, Gene DeWitt, Darrell K. DeWitt, James L. DeWitt and one sister Judy A DeWitt.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, August 5, 2023, in Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Aaron Gross officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, Logansport.
Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00PM on Friday August 4, 2023, in Gundrum Funeral Home.
