Donny Murphree Obituary
Mr. Murphree passed away on March 1, 2025, in Winona.
Donny Wayne Murphree was born on July 14, 1969, in Garland, Texas, to John "Ralph" Murphree, Sr. and Martha Jo (Morgan) Langford. He graduated from Bullard High School and worked as a general contractor for Sentry. Donny enjoyed four-wheeling, fishing, playing the harmonica, and fixing things. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepfather, Bobby Langford; his brother, John Ralph Murphree, Jr.; and by his son, Jaxs Dennis.
Survivors include his children, Tara Padilla and spouse Rocky of Heartland, Laila Davidson of Winona, and Cheyenne Murphree of Winona; his siblings, Carl Langford and spouse Dale of Mesquite, David Langford and spouse Denise of Bullard, and Cathy Sharp and spouse James of McKinney; his grandchildren, Tre Padilla and Carter Padilla; and by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Chandler Memorial Funeral Home family.
