She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Mary DeFries, her brother, Pete Samora Jr., her daughter, Gina Bentancur and her grandchild, Paris Rubio.
She is survived by her children Monica Ramirez (Lucio), Brenda Jaure-Swallows, Anthony Jaure (Roxanne), Angela Horta, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, many siblings, nieces and nephews.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend. After her retirement in 2017, she spent her free time with her children, grandchildren, siblings, friends and traveling. She will be deeply and greatly missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, January 6th, 2023 at Stroud Funeral Home, 538 Brazosport Blvd. N, Clute, Texas 77531 at 11:00am.
