Dora Elia Jimenez, age 69, entered into rest on Thursday, May 8, 2025 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on April 28, 1956, in Lamadrid, Coahuila, Mexico
Dora had wrote her own obituary:
I, Dora Jiménez, have won many people for God and have fed many. I'm from Comfort, Texas. I worked for 25 years at AAAA Storage Place. It was there that I contracted cancer. I spent a long time at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas, where everyone helped me emerge victorious. I thank Dr. Michael, Sender, Cecy, and another nurse on the floor whose name I can't remember, as well as the name of a surgical doctor. Thank you, thank you all so much in heaven. In heaven, you will not lose your reward. Thank you to Mireya and Haylia, and also to María Paulina Chávez, who took care of me, and her family, who were faithful to me until the end. To all my friends in Dallas, Texas, who were my clients and who were also in the hospital.
Also to my friend Jein King, Norma Hernandez, Tomas, and Margarita González. I had four employers: Jessy and Gin Marshall for 17 years, and the second employer. I worked for eight years, a total of 25 years. The other employers were Elaine and her husband, Kirt Lamb, Lili Hernandez and Tony Hernandez, and Susy Villanueva from Kervio, Texas. Also, many Christian friends whose names I don't remember. My time is running out. Cecy, the floor nurse, promised me that once I leave here, the hospital, they won't lose their reward.
Sincerely, Dora Jiménez
A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Comfort Cemetery, 3rd St, Comfort Texas.
