Dorina P. (Maillet) "Pam" Boucher: A Life Defined by Love and Kindness.
Dorina P. (Maillet) "Pam" Boucher, a cherished mother, devoted wife and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, October 28, 2025, at the age of 93. She died surrounded by the love of her family at her home in Fitchburg.
Born on July 17, 1932, in Fitchburg to the late Eugene and Edna (Robichaud) Maillet, Pam inherited a spirit of resilience and a remarkable capacity for joy, kindness and compassion. She attended Fitchburg schools and was a lifelong resident of the city and a longtime member of St. Joseph's Parish.
She married her beloved husband, Aldege J. Boucher, who predeceased her earlier this year in February after seventy years of marriage. Her greatest joy was her role as a mother to her daughter, Michelle Beauvais, who lovingly served as her caregiver after Aldege's passing, and a grandmother to her cherished grandchildren Tanner and Kendall Cote, all of Fitchburg.
Pam's professional life was spent nurturing others; she worked at many local retail establishments in various capacities. Her final place of employment was Kmart, shortly after its opening, where she remained a dedicated employee for more than 20 years prior to her retirement. It was there she made many wonderful friendships that lasted decades after her retirement.
Pam found great pleasure in playing bingo with her sisters and spending time with her family, who brought her unconditional joy throughout her life. She loved her trips to the casino, which she enjoyed with her husband and daughter, then regularly with Michelle after Al's passing. She will be lovingly remembered for her Memorial Day family gatherings which she hosted for many years, complete with a full turkey dinner with all the fixings.
She will be profoundly missed by her daughter, Michelle, and son-in-law, Matthew; her brother, Denis Maillet of Ware; her two loving grandchildren, Tanner and Kendall Cote; her one month old great-granddaughter, Sylvie who she was able to meet and cuddle prior to her passing; her bonus grandson Camren Beauvais; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Aldege, and her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Rene Maillet and Ronald Maillet, and three sisters, Winifred Landry, Jacqueline McCooe, and Charline Boudreau.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday November 20, at 11:30 AM in the Pieta Chapel at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fitchburg.
