She leaves to cherish fond memories: four daughters, Catherine Spruill of Maplewood, NJ, Pattie Green (Alvin) of Ahoskie, NC, Emily Hinton of Charlotte, NC and Wilma Spruill of Trenton, NJ; two sons, Clifton Spruill and Terry Spruill both Charlotte, NC: five sisters, Mary Cofield, Shelia Cofield, Gloria Cofield, Rosa Cofield all of Ahoskie, NC and Michelle Jefferson of Murfreesboro, NC; three brothers, Kenneth Cofield of Newport News, VA and Douglas Cofield, Bobby both of Ahoskie, NC; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

To grandma I know didn't know you I remember talking on the phone to as I was young my ustew tell me I'm gonna miss you I Heard all the good things about u & I'm glad u was my great grandma I know u in heaven smiling down at me making sure I do in school I love you grandma watch over me

To grandma I miss you so much I think about you every day I miss calling you when I moved down south in my teens I knew u was happy even when I was a baby u & Grand dad would visit me even in Boston when I spent the night at ur house I'm gonna miss even when I had ur great grandson u would ask how he was doing u was excited to have another great grandson I'm goi miss ur cooking ur desserts ur talk on the phone ,,& ur smile
