Doris Billings Obituary
Doris was born on September 7, 1935 in Nathan, Michigan, the daughter of Mike and Mary (Hochbein) Ducat. Doris was united in marriage to Neil Billings on April 24, 1954 at the St. Anne Church in Menominee. Together, they shared 62 wonderful years until Neil's passing in 2016.
Doris is survived by her children Audrey (Rick) Ansell of Escanaba, Carol (Allan) Julian of Iron Mountain and Mark (Connie) Billings of Green Bay; daughter-in-law Cheryl (Bruce) Larson; grandchildren Melissa, Jeremiah, Jason, Brent, Kimberly, Michael, Jessica, Amy, Justin, Alicia, Andrew and Kristin; 31 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews; siblings Gladys Furton of Marinette, Jan (Jim) Delaurelle of Nathan, and Ed (Noni) Ducat of Nathan; and sister-in-law Janet Ducat of Hermansville.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband Neil; her parents; son Brian Billings; siblings Frank Ducat, Joe (Marge) Ducat, Bill (Jeanne) Ducat, and Adeline (Gus) Techmeier; as well as brother-in-law Tob Furton.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 from 2 PM to 4 PM at the Ford River Community Chapel in Ford River. Services will follow visitation at 4 PM with Pastor Jay Gilchrist officiating. Doris will be laid to rest next to her husband at the Gardens of Rest Cemetery with Graveside Services on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at 10 AM.
