A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home, Inc.Doris Roberta Brannon, born on July 3, 1950, in Michigan, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2025, at Glenview Health and Rehab in Glasgow, Kentucky. A devoted and compassionate caregiver, Doris dedicated her life to her career as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), working in long-term care until her retirement. Her commitment to the well-being of others was evident in every aspect of her life.
Doris was known for her loving disposition and her good heart. She had a passion for crafting, especially crocheting, which brought her joy and allowed her to create beautiful pieces for family and friends. Doris deeply valued her relationships and was always eager to lend a helping hand to those in need. She cherished the time spent with her church family, finding solace and community within her faith.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Jessie James Brannon; her daughter, Donna Shoemaker (Trevor); her grandchildren, Brittany Shoemaker and Brian Shoemaker; and her great-grandchild, Raven Shoemaker. Doris also leaves behind her sister, Debbie Eklof (Don), along with several nieces and nephews who will fondly remember her warmth and kindness.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lei Edward Elliott and Donna Madeline Landfear Elliott, Doris was the beloved sister to Larry, William, Dorothy, James, Jaqueline, Kathleen, Dennis, Denise, and Ricky Elliott, each of whom she held dear in her heart.

The family has honored Doris's wishes with cremation under the direction of A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. A memorial service honoring Doris will be held on November 8, 2025, at Lifegate Church, located at 900 Coral Hill Rd, Glasgow, KY 42141.
