White's Funeral Home - SpringtownDoris Elaine (Miller) Browning, 80, affectionately known as “Elaine”, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 24, 2025 in Weatherford, Texas, after a courageous battle with dementia, with her daughter, Susie, by her side.
Graveside Service: 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 6, 2025 in Springtown Cemetery, Springtown, Texas.
A native Texan, she was born in Fort Worth, Texas on April 9, 1945, to Tommy Miller and Nita (Fuller) Miller.
Elaine was known as a gentle and laid-back person, full of kindness and generosity to all those that knew her. She took great care to always look her best, being health conscious and physically active all of her life. She was a devoted and cherished mother and proud “Meme” of one granddaughter and two great-grandsons.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her only son, Ronny Gene Riggs and a brother, Charles Miller.
Elaine is survived by her daughter, Susie Goodell and husband Timmy; Granddaughter, April Goodell and Great-grandsons, Braxton and Ketch, and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family would like to say a special “Thank You” to the staff at Peach Tree Place in Weatherford for their extraordinary care.
