Doris Dahl

Doris Dahl, 90, of Farmington, MN, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2026, in the presence of her adult children.

Doris was united in marriage to David Dahl on June 14, 1953, and they shared 70 years together until his passing in September 2023.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David; three sisters; and three brothers.

She is survived by her son, Dick (Patty) Dahl; daughters, Lille (Holly) TerWisscha, Donna (Jay) Sheehan; nine grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Jeanette Pfeifer, Joyce (Clay) Nelson; also by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Doris worked in manufacturing and also in the food industry, where cooking became her lifelong passion. She was deeply involved in her church, serving on committees, helping with Vacation Bible School, preparing meals, assisting with the Vet's Dinner, and cooking for the church stand at the Dakota County Fair. The church kitchen was her home-away-from-home.

At Trinity Terrace in Farmington, Doris and David enjoyed playing cards, bingo, movies, and many community activities. Doris loved gardening and canning, and she was known for her generous spirit and her famous banana bread, always shared with others.

A Memorial Service was held on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Farmington, MN. Interment at Corinthian Cemetery, Farmington, MN.
