Doris “Dory” Jean (Harrison) Diller, 91, passed away in the Chambersburg Hospital on September 1, 2025. Born December 21, 1933, in Chambersburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Dorothy (Stenger) Harrison. Dory was a 1951 graduate of the former Chambersburg High School. She was a member of the Chambersburg Church of the Brethren. Her husband, Ray H. Diller, whom she married December 11, 1954, preceded her in death on June 25, 2020.
Surviving is her daughter, Kimberly Frazer and husband Robert "Bo" of Chambersburg; her son, Jeffrey Diller and wife Karen of Chambersburg; six grandchildren, Kyle (Katelyn) Diller, Katie (Calvin) Mentzer, Tate Frazer, Ray (Kelly) Frazer, Karly Diller, and Julia (Blake) Kirby; great-grandchildren, Kennedy, Kollyns, Brooks, Kacy, Kaydence, Micah, and one on the way; her sister, Judy Tressler (husband Harold) of Chambersburg; and in-laws, John (Margie) Diller, Jim (Mabel) Diller, and Fannie Frey.
Services will be held at 11:00AM, Saturday, September 6, 2025, at the Chambersburg Church of the Brethren, 260 South Fourth Street, Chambersburg, PA, 17201 with Pastor Mark Baliles officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 5, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. Interment will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Maplewood Cemetery, Marion, PA.
The family would like to offer special thanks to the caregivers at Menno Haven, Brookview Health Care Center, and Lehman House for taking such good care of their mom for the last two years. They were like family to Doris and her family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her memory may be made in honor of her granddaughter Karly, who has a rare genetic disorder called CDKL-5 deficiency disorder. You may donate to IFCR, PO Box 926, Wadsworth, OH, 444282 or online at cdkl5.com.
