Doris Dunigan

Doris May (Parrish) Dunigan, age 80, of Spencer, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born in Greencastle, Indiana, on October 27, 1945, Doris was the daughter of Ray and Cathryn (Cradick) Parrish. She was a proud graduate of Gosport High School and dedicated many years of service as an Administrative Assistant at Indiana University before her retirement. Doris found joy in life's simple and beautiful moments, spending time among her flowers, reading a good book, and practicing the art of needlepoint. A devoted member of the Eastern Star and a faithful attendee of the Gosport Christian Church, Doris will be remembered for her quiet strength, kind heart, and warm smile that touched all who knew her.
She is lovingly survived by her daughters, Kim Lyttle and Sheri (Matt) Salis; grandchildren, Nathan (Jasmine) Lewis, Stephen (Cody) Lewis, Cathryn Salis, Nicholas Salis, Joseph Salis, and Andrew Salis; and great-grandchildren, Maddox, Addie, and Dean Lewis.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Kenneth Parrish and Janet Winters.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on November 7, 2025, at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home of Walton Funeral Service, 105 N. Montgomery Street, Spencer, Indiana. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Burial will follow at Gosport Cemetery in Gosport, Indiana.
