She was a member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Artie Epperson, and was a member of the Sylacauga Recreation Center ladies china painting class.

I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Epperson was a special part of our childhood. I don't remember a day that we didn't speak to her or at least look up to see her at the kitchen window waving to us when she was in there cooking. And then after I had my boys, we would often go looking for them and find them next door visiting with Mr. and Mrs. "Epp". Please know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers.

Mrs. Epperson was a very special person. She was a big part of my childhood. I still remember going over to her house and sitting on her kitchen stool and watching her prepare dinner. She and Mother had many special "coffee breaks" together. Please know all of your family will be in our prayers. May God Bless and comfort each of you.

May God Bless Janice and Jim. I was a neighbor to her for many years on Wetumpka street. I'm Charles and Bettye Townsend daughter. My heart was broken when i heard about the lost. My prayers are with the family.

She will be missed, We are glad that we had her as a friend. She was a wonderful soul and a great person with lots of wisdom that we learned from. Our lifes get so busy that we sometimes forget to make time for the people we love and that's where we fell short. Time is shorter than we think. We love you Doris and we will see you again.
