Doris Griffith, 79, of Logansport, passed away on Monday, September 29, 2025 at Chase Center.
She was born November 29, 1945, in Logansport, Indiana, the daughter of Russell and Ethel M. (Hunter) Collins. On May 21, 1966, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Richard L. Griffith, in Logansport. Together they shared almost 50 years of marriage before his passing in 2016.
A dedicated homemaker, Doris found her greatest joy in caring for her family. She was happiest when surrounded by loved ones and treasured the simple moments of running, quilting, and sharing her time with those closest to her. Doris was also a member of Revolution Community Church.
She is survived by her children, Greg (Carol) Griffith of Logansport, Mike (Tina) Griffith of Logansport, Amy Marlatt of Murfreesboro, TN; one brother, Gary Collins, Greenwood, one sister, Helen (Ron) Guy, Logansport, grandchildren, Chris (Dannan) Griffith of Logansport, Zach (Kirby) Griffith of Kokomo, Jessica (Matt) Hettinger of Logansport, Katie (Ethan) Pearson of Kokomo, Brooke (Ethan) Sell of Logansport, Austin Marlatt of NC, and Kyra Marlatt of Murfreesboro, TN, Patty (Adam) Morrow, Logansport and Christina (Jim) Porter, Logansport; great-grandson, Graham Hettinger, Brantley Griffith, Drake Griffith, Emma Hettinger, Ryleigh Sell, Kynleigh Sell, Maverick Goodman, Colton Sell, Brittnay Perry, Garett Uhrich, Jacob Morrow and Adyson Porter; two great great grandsons and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard; four sisters; five brothers and son-in-law Jimmy Marlatt.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on October 3, 2025, at Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Anthony Cozzello officiating. Friends and family may visit from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Davis Cemetery.
